Graeme Thickins is the founder of GT&A Strategic Marketing Inc., a marketing
strategy, content development, branding, and startup consultancy that has worked with Internet
and e-business clients, VCs, and tech founders for more than six years, and with a wide
variety of emerging and established technology firms for 12 years prior to that.

Since launching GT&A in 1982, Graeme has provided consulting and advisory services to
more than 100 technology and e-business firms -- most business-to-business, some consumer, and
many from the initial concept or launch stages. He was most recently active in helping BestBuy.com --
the e-commerce subsidiary of the world's largest electronics retailer -- start up and build its new world-class
web site. As part of the initial "swat team," he served as interim Content Director and helped establish site
design, content, and branding specifications, while also playing a key role in building the ePublishing
group from 3 to 75 people in four months. Launched in mid-2000, the site became a top-10 Nielsen/
NetRatings online shopping destination within six months. It also was ranked third in the
Forrester Research "Power Rankings," behind number two Amazon.com. The site
has already reached an estimated $200 million in annual revenues.

In addition to his consulting and editorial/content development business, GT&A
founder Graeme Thickins has written extensively on technology and market developments in
the Internet Economy. He has a large national network of leaders and influentials in the technology
and investment communities. His popular email reports on Internet and technology developments, begun
as a sideline in 1997, are read by an exclusive audience of 2500+ senior executives. These reports grew out of

naming and branding in major business publications.

In addition, Graeme has served as an advisor to several Internet and technology
firms, and has an alternate base of operation in California.

His focus in naming, branding, and domain strategy grew out of
extensive involvement earlier in his career in building brand equity in
and managing many major brands. He served in marketing communications
management positions with such leading Fortune 500 corporations as
Medtronic and the former Control Data Corporation. As an account
executive with top-10 worldwide agency D'Arcy-MacManus
& Masius, he also worked on multimillion dollar
advertising campaigns for the 3M Company.
